Our goal is to preserve beloved green space in Yellow Springs for the benefit of all living things.

Yellow Springs Land Conservation Alliance was born out of the need for local ecological organizations and individuals to work together to uphold the environmental conservation legacy of our community.

Historically, Yellow Springs has organized to preserve our green spaces from threats of development. In recent years however, various interests have pushed for housing by any means necessary, threatening to transform the character of our Village from rural to suburban. Our community is at a historic crossroads, and we have come together to be a voice for the environment.
